The Co-Curriculum Day was held at SMJK Katholik, PJ on 21st February 2025 with active participation from the students. The event was officiated by the PIBG Chairman, Mr. Casey Tan, together with the school administrators. Various clubs presented performances and promotional activities, both on stage and around the school compound, which were enjoyed by the audience. The programme encouraged teamwork, built students’ confidence, and allowed them to share knowledge and experiences. Overall, the event was well attended and successfully achieved its objectives.

The Sports House Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2025 was successfully held on Thursday, 13th March 2025, from 7.30 a.m. to 8.35 a.m. at the Assembly Ground, Brother Philippe Hall, and Sports Centre. The event was coordinated by Ms. Dhanam and involved students from Form 3 to Form 6.
During the meeting, each house gathered enthusiastically to begin preparations for the upcoming School Sports Day and Cross-Country Championship 2025. The Green House conducted its introduction session in the school hall, while the Blue House held the appointment ceremony for new house leaders. Members of the Red and Yellow Houses displayed high energy and strong team spirit through their cheers, and teachers of the Purple House were present at the assembly area to support their students.
Both students and teachers showed great enthusiasm and commitment throughout the event. House advisors successfully appointed capable and dedicated committee members who are ready to lead their houses for the new term.
To further improve future AGMs, it was suggested that a clearer sound system and better seating arrangement be provided to ensure smooth communication and a more focused environment. Overall, the AGM ran smoothly and reflected the unity, excitement, and readiness of SMJK Katholik students and teachers for the sporting events ahead.
2025 年运动屋年度大会于 2025 年 3 月 13 日（星期四）早上 7 时 30 分至 8 时 35 分，在公教国民型华文中学的集会场、吴酉俊修士礼堂以及体育中心顺利举行。大会由 Dhanam 老师负责协调，参与对象为初三至高三的学生。
会议期间，各个运动屋成员热情参与，为即将到来的 2025 年校运会及越野赛做好准备。绿色屋在学校礼堂进行介绍环节，蓝色屋则举行新任屋长就职仪式。红色屋与黄色屋的成员以热烈的欢呼展现出强烈的团队精神，而紫色屋的老师们则在集会场上给予支持与鼓励。
学生与老师们在整个活动中展现出极高的热忱与投入。各个运动屋顾问也成功选出能力出众、充满责任感的委员会成员，为新学期的活动做好准备。
为进一步提升活动品质，建议未来可改善音响系统及场地安排，以确保沟通顺畅及现场秩序良好。整个大会进行顺利，充分展现了天主教国民型中学师生的团结、热情与备战精神。
The Cross-Country Championship 2025 was held at SMJK Katholik on 26th April 2025, involving students from Form 1 to Form 6. The event began with a warm-up session followed by the run, and medals were awarded to winners in each category. It successfully promoted perseverance, sportsmanship, and teamwork among students while contributing to their sports houses’ achievements. Attendance was good, and the event concluded smoothly with a closing ceremony. Overall, the championship was well organized and met its objectives.
2025年越野赛于4月26日公教国民型华文中学举行，参赛对象为初一至高三的学生。活动以热身开始，随后进行越野赛跑，并为各组优胜者颁发奖牌。本次比赛成功培养了学生的毅力、运动精神和团队合作，也为各自的运动队争取荣誉。出席率良好，活动在闭幕典礼中顺利结束。总体而言，赛事组织完善，圆满达成目标。
The Reverie: A Dream of Music concert was a spectacular musical showcase held at Brother Philippe Wu Hall, SMJK Katholik. Organised by the Harmonica and Guitar Band, the Choir Club, and the Cultural and Drama Club, the event featured two sessions — a matinee show on 2nd May 2025 from 2.40 p.m. to 4.10 p.m., and the main concert on Saturday, 3rd May 2025 at 7.30 p.m.. Both sessions drew enthusiastic audiences, including students, teachers, and guests, who were captivated by the creativity and harmony displayed throughout the performances.
Reverie: A Dream of Music took the audience on a dreamlike journey through melodies that transcended genres and emotions. The title “Reverie,” which means being lost in one’s thoughts, perfectly captured the spirit of the concert — being immersed in music and imagination. Each performance reminded the audience to pause and appreciate the beauty of art and the inspiration that music brings to life.
In today’s fast-paced world, where people seldom have time to ‘daydream,’ the concert served as a gentle reminder of the importance of slowing down to enjoy life’s simple pleasures. The evening concluded with thunderous applause, marking the success of the concert and celebrating the dedication, teamwork, and creativity of SMJK Katholik’s talented students. Truly, Reverie: A Dream of Music was not just a concert — it was an unforgettable musical journey for all.
2025年5月3日（星期六），《Reverie: A Dream of Music》（梦幻之音）音乐会于公教国民型华文中学的吴酉俊修士礼堂圆满举行。本次音乐会由口琴与吉他乐团、合唱团及文化与戏剧学会联合举办，共举办两场演出——第一场下午场于2025年5月2日（星期五）下午2时40分至4时10分举行，第二场正式演出则于2025年5月3日（星期六）晚上7时30分上演。两场演出均获得师生及嘉宾们的热烈响应，观众们沉浸在一场充满创意与和谐美感的音乐盛宴中。
《梦幻之音》带领观众踏上一场如梦似幻的音乐旅程，旋律跨越不同的曲风与情感，令人沉醉其中。“Reverie”意指沉浸于幻想与思绪之中，完美诠释了音乐会的主题——沉醉于音乐的世界。每一个节目都提醒我们，在忙碌的生活中不妨停下脚步，欣赏音乐所带来的美与灵感。

The SMJK Katholik Uniformed Camp was held from 13th to 15th June 2025 (Friday to Sunday) at Kem Photon Valley, Hulu Langat, Selangor. The camp was organised by the Uniformed Units of SMJK Katholik and was actively participated in by their members, accompanied by teachers. Students and teachers arrived at the campsite and took part in a variety of activities designed to build teamwork, discipline, and survival skills.
Among the activities conducted were first aid training, where participants learned bandaging techniques, and jungle cooking, in which students were introduced to survival cooking methods and were given the opportunity to prepare food themselves. The camp also included singing and cheering sessions, creating a lively atmosphere especially during the closing ceremony.
The camp successfully enhanced students’ perseverance, instilled leadership qualities, and encouraged responsibility and cooperation. It also raised awareness among students about their roles and responsibilities as future leaders, fostering individuals who are disciplined, confident, and capable.
For future improvement, it is recommended that planning be carried out more thoroughly and systematically with reference to post-mortem reports. Attendance for the camp was good, and overall, the programme achieved its objectives with positive outcomes.
公教国民型华文中学于2025年6月13日至15日（星期五至星期日）在雪兰莪乌鲁冷岳的Photon Valley营地举办了年度大型制服团体宿营。此次活动由校内制服团体主办，并在老师的带领下积极参与。师生们抵达营地后，参与了多项旨在培养团队合作、纪律与生存技能的活动。
在活动中，学生们接受了急救训练，学习了包扎技巧。此外，还进行了野外烹饪活动，学生们学习生存烹饪的方法，并亲自体验自己动手准备食物。营会期间还安排了歌唱与加油打气环节，尤其是在闭幕仪式中更是营造出热闹欢乐的气氛。
此次宿营成功提升了学生的毅力，培养了领导才能，并鼓励他们树立责任感与合作精神。同时，它也增强了学生作为未来领袖的意识与担当，帮助他们成长为有纪律、自信和有能力的人。
在未来的改进方面，建议主办方参考活动后的检讨报告，以便更周密和系统地进行策划。本次宿营的出席率令人满意，整体而言，活动圆满完成并达到了预期目标。
The Annual Sports Day 2025 of SMJK Katholik was successfully held on Friday, 25th July 2025, from 7.30 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. at the school field. The event was coordinated by Ms. Dhanam and participated by students from Form 1 to Form 6. The opening ceremony was officiated by the invited guest in the presence of the school administrators, followed by the march-past of the sports houses led by Ms. Dhanam.
Students demonstrated commendable enthusiasm, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the programme. The Green House was awarded the title of Best-Decorated Sports House for their outstanding creativity and presentation. The event fostered unity and school spirit among students and teachers alike.
Overall, the Annual Sports Day 2025 was conducted smoothly according to plan, with active involvement from both teachers and students, making it a memorable and successful occasion.
公教国民型华文中学2025年度运动会于2025年7月25日（星期五）上午7时30分至中午12时在学校操场圆满举行。本次活动由Dhanam老师统筹，全体初中至高中学生积极参与。开幕仪式由贵宾主持，并有校方行政人员出席，随后由Dhanam老师带领各个运动队伍进行列队检阅。
